Nice constructed with smooth action, very strong, great saltwater reel.
Smooth casting, smooth retrieval, and able to handle some heavy duty loads.
This is a great product, Much better than RawII-80, I will be using for long time. Met all my expectations.
Nice and strong.
Also it's good for saltwater fishing, high speed, Heavy duty, 11BB + 1RB stainless steel bearings.
I love it
Works very well and enough strong.
it's a great reel, feel well, better than RawII-80
I purchased 2 RawII 16000, and received last week, super strong and smooth!
It's what I expected, little heavy, smooth, very strong!
This is an excellent reel. It's great for inshore fishing and rivers for salmon or steelhead. It would work on any big largemouth bass in the south too.
Great reel, quality build. Strong enough for angler or jetty fishing. Two weeks ago I cough a 4' sand shark (25-30 lbs). Pull it without a hard fight. Load it up with braid line (40 lbs) silky smooth casting. Rubber pad wheel on the handle makes a good feel on your hand. One thing I really like to have is an extra spin reel for spare or change for lighter or heavier line.
Have to get another one after son in law fell in love with this one, Loaded with 30lb braid and fluorocarbon leader he uses it kayaking the Gulf of Mexico and Laguna Madre here in South Texas.
Great reel. I fish about 5 days a week. Now I find my other reels frustrating. It reels in so much faster, and easier. It casts farther. I have about 30 reels, this is my favorite by far, and I don't buy cheap reels.
Have used this reel 3 times and it performs great. Have caught Kingfish, Snapper, Amberjack and Tuna with it.
I found this reel in Houston, a small fishing tackle shop, it's much better than RawII-80, I very like this reel, but the price is $299, I didn't buy. When I found such a low price here, of course purchased one order, I received the reel today, everything is in perfect condition, very happy!
This is a great reel, been using it for a while now and it has done a good job with kings, sharks and anything else I have caught.
I really have nothing negative to say about the Okuma Raw II 16000. It looks great, reels smoothly!
A very good saltwater spinning reel for the price. Used it for blues and stripers in Sandy Hook Bay, NJ. Outstanding. Fitted it with 25 lb. braid. A great reel for and variety of saltwater fishing. Drag is perfect.
